I decided not to go to college, but have had a few great jobs over the years! I worked at the mall during high school, and for a while after graduation. A couple years after graduation I went to work as a police dispatcher for what used to be Houston Airport Police (now part of HPD), I did that for 5 years! I lived around Houston and Katy for those years. I bought a house and moved to Katy in 1986. A couple years later I went to work at Katy Vet Clinic to be closer to home and be more available to my stepson, who was in 5th grade and had just come to live with us. In 1996 we moved to Livingston, TX. I went to work at an insurance office there, and after 5 years decided to go to work for Walmart. Apx 2 years later I moved back to Michigan where we had lived prior to my 9th grade year at KHS. It turned out that going to work at Walmart was a great thing at the time, as it allowed me to transfer from TX to MI when I moved "home". I worked in loss prevention for 2 years, and then in receiving for 15 years. I left Walmart in Sept 2018. Vicki (Taylor) Stessel, and Beth (Griffin) Klein, and I, are still as close as we were in school, but since we live so far apart we don't get to see each other very often. We talk often, and we all try to get together every year or two!
